SAP Business Objects Consultant:
An urgent requirement for an SAP Business Objects consultant based in Aberdeen for a leading Energy company has just been signed off. You will be given the chance to grow with a new and exciting team in the headquarters of this specialist global company.
In this pivotal role you will work with both the internal SAP Support team and third party/back office support consultants to deliver SAP solutions.
In this position you will be required to deliver enhancements or new functionality which will assist the company in streamlining business processes, reducing process costs and simplifying procedures. You will be able to create standard training documentation using RWD, InfoPak is a requirement also.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
You will be developing and testing of high performance Business Objects content to meet business needs. You will be Creating and modifying Business Objects universes.
You will be an integral part of projects from pre-project stages to project delivery and support. You will be working on cutting edge Strategy building for future Business Intelligence content deployment and perform end user training where required.
You will be investigating any incidents that occur and resolving them whilst ensuring of course that the best practice guidelines are followed you will then align deployment of modifications and incidents to SAP change control process.
You will have superior ability to develop and support Business Objects content whilst having the Ability to develop and support BObj/BPC content.
Other responsibilities include:

Unit, integration.Co-ordination of user acceptance testing.

Integration of data from other kind of sources which may or may not be R/3.
System utilization and performance monitoring.
Carry out regular reconciliation to source systems.
Key liaison role with SAP co-ordinators, business process owners and key users.
Create training documentation.

Personal Attributes:

roven SAP Business Objects 4.0 (Web Intelligence, Dashboard designer, Crystal reports, Analysis and Explorer) and BEx queries experience.

Full project lifecycle experience.

SAP technical knowledge.
IS-Oil experience (advantageous).
Knowledge of common business processes.
Educated to degree level (advantageous) .
Good communication skills, written and verbal.
